Muttai is nothing but a egg. Now I would like to tell about one of the Tamil recipes. In English, they can even call it as ” boiled egg curry”. In this we are going to place the egg which are boiled. It is famous food in South India. After reading this preparation method, you can able to know how to prepare muttai kulambu recipe.
Most of the people don't know why to use the boiled egg for egg curry???
It is just because the nutritional value of and boiled it is highly when compared to other type of preparation.
We all know about the process of boiling an egg it is really very easy and simple. This recipe comes under the south indian cuisine recipes.
Ingredients for muttai kuzhambu:
  • 4 boiled eggs,
  • one big onion chopped,
  • one tomato chopped,
  • one tablespoon of the cumin powder,
  • one tablespoon ginger garlic paste,
  • 3 to 4 tablespoon of coconut powder,
  • one tablespoon of coriander,
  • Salt to taste,
  • whole garam masala,
now let's know how to make Muttai Kulambu:
take a pan, add 2 to 3 tablespoon of oil and when it gets heated up just add whole garam masala and let it fly for 2 min. Now it's time to add onions and let it fry until it becomes golden brown. Add the tomatoes and cover it with a lid. After 5 min just open it you can able to find the oil which is oozing out from the mixture. The onions and tomatoes gets finely smashed. And ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coconut powder, coriander powder, salt and cook it for 15 min. Just place the boiled eggs into it.
It is also called as simple muttai kulambu recipe because it can be done quickly.
