Mudda Pappu is one of the simple and wonderful dish and Andhra Pradesh. It just takes five minutes of time to prepare this dish. It is also called as Paruppu in Tamil.
Ingredients for preparing Pappu:
- 1 cup Toor Dal,
- pinch of turmeric powder.
- 2 cups of water.
- Salt to taste
Preparation process of Mudda papu:
take a pan and dry roasted for few minutes. Then put this Toor Dal into the pressure cooker, add water and pinch of turmeric to it. Close the pressure cooker and wait until 5 to 6 whistle.
Always remember that the salt must be added at the end. It is rich in protein so it is healthy to eat. The side dish for this mudda papu would be vankaya pulusu.
