Sambar is one of the wonderful dish which is excellent it taste and even have a healthy vitamins and minerals which are needed for the body. We can say that this sambar consist of vegetable stew which gives a wonderful taste. Everyone loves to taste to this sambar in South India such as Tamil Nadu. Everyone believes that the taste of Tamil Nadu sambar is really perfect.
Below is the recipe for preparing the Kerala sambar at home. You can serve this samba with Idli, ven pongal, Dosai, Medu Vada. 
 Ingredients:
  •  carrot, radish, pumpkin,  potatoes, tomatoes, brinjal and onions,
  • pinch of Hing,
  • 2 tablespoon samba powder,
  • 1 cup of toor dal,
  • tamarind juice
  • Curry leaves,
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cup of water
  • oil,
  • one tablespoon mustard seeds,
  • one tablespoon cumin seeds
  • pinch of turmeric powder
preparation method of samba:
preparing this dish is really very easy and it can be done just within 10 min. Wash the toor dal well and put it into a pressure cooker, water and turmeric powder. And let it be on the flame until the three whistles comes out of it. When this process is completed you can just remove it from the flame and at the vegetables which are chopped. Now you can add samba powder, Hing, salt, very little amount of tamarind pulp juice. And just wait for one whistle. Now you can remove it from the flame. Now the samba is ready to serve but you must remember that you need to garnish it it. The process of publishing called as talimpu. Take pan and add two tablespoon of oil. Now you can add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Curry leaves. And let it crackle. Now you can add this on to the sambar. Now you can serve hot sambar with your dish. It even taste good with hot rice and papad.
