Oats Payasam
Ingredients for Oats Payasam
Oats – 1 Cup
Milk – 4 Cups
Sugar – 2 Cups
Cashews – 5 Nos
Raisins – 5 Nos
Ghee – 2 Table spoons
Elachi Powder – Little
Preparation method for Oats payasam
Take one cup of oats and boil it in two cups of water. Boil the contents for five minutes. After five minutes, allow the content to cool. Take four cups of milk and boil it. After the milk boils add the oats to it without draining the water. Add 2 cups of sugar to the content and mix well. Slow down the flame. Add a pinch of elachi powder to the content.
Take a heavy bottomed vessel and add two table spoons of ghee to it. Add the cashew and raisins to it and fry well. Fry the content till the cashews and raisins...
